Welcome

I approach this site as another ongoing project, and one that, like most all of my projects, doesn’t really have an ending; images will come and go, appear, disappear, reappear, some culled fresh from new work, and others found on contact sheets that I haven’t looked at for 10 or 40 years.

For simplicity, and at least for the time being, I’ve gathered images mostly into place-defined collections, even though I don’t think of my work as being about place, at least not in the sense of latitude and longitude, southern or northern, western or eastern.

This place conundrum is best resolved for me in the collection Somewhere Beyond the Constellation Norma (it is the somewhere that saves me). Somewhere Beyond the Constellation Norma includes (will include) images from most of the other current collections, as well as images unique to it. Somewhere Beyond the Constellation Norma is where much of my work goes to find happiness and fuller purpose, and perhaps it will be the final resting-place for most all of my images.

Thanks for visiting,

Ralph
